The Sweet Carolina RG Committee takes the safety of all our attendees very seriously and wants to ensure that everyone feels comfortable in their surroundings so that they can have lots of fun. To keep everyone as safe as possible, we will be requiring the following:
Proof of Vaccination OR Negative COVID-19 PCR Test within 72 Hours
Please be sure to bring your vaccination card(s) with you to registration. Proof of vaccination can be a hard copy of your vaccination card or digital copy/photo of your vaccination card. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least 14 days after the second of a two-dose of an FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine, or 14 days after a single dose COVID-19 vaccine of an FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine. We will have stickers for those who’ve been vaccinated. The stickers will be available when you register and will be applied to your badge by our registration volunteers.
Those unable to be vaccinated (such as those too young) or who cannot prove vaccine status will be required to show proof of a negative test result of a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours. Antigen (or “rapid”) and antibody (or “serologic”)test results are not admissible. Tests must state the date and time of the test, type of test and negative result. We will have a different sticker for those presenting a negative COVID test when you register and will be applied to your badge by our registration volunteers.
Regardless of vaccination status, all guests age 5 and above are required to wear face masks, except when consuming food or beverage in designated areas. There is currently a mask mandate in all indoor public places in Mecklenburg County. This means that masks will be required in event areas, as well as in other public places within the hotel, and the mandate will be enforced.
If you are feeling unwell, experiencing CDC-recognized COVID-19 symptoms, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or have had close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, we ask that you prioritize your health and the health of your fellow members and stay home.
These policies are subject to change as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.
