Christian MENSA Bible Study
August 11 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Studying the Bible has a longer intellectual history than modern science. Newton wrote more about the Bible than science. Now there is an opportunity for Mensans and their non-Mensan friends to engage in the time-honored practice of discussing the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all people for intellectual conversation about the Bible. It is not for the purpose of proselytizing or conversion. Let’s just have some fun following in the footsteps of Galileo, Johannes Kepler, and others in the pursuit of true discourse on one of the most read books in the world.
During this time of Covid, and considering that Mensa is world-wide, this Bible study opportunity is available through joining a Zoom meeting. It is necessary to download Zoom, which is free, and there is no charge for joining the Bible Study.
To protect against Zoom hackers, we cannot simply post the Zoom meeting specific shere. Instead, please email Ken Lawrence at VirtualChristianBibleStudy@gmail.com to obtain the meeting invitation and code and for any questions you might have. We plan to start with the books of Romans and Hebrews, but are open for other suggestions.
