History SIG

History SIG is moving’ on up. We are moving to The Brightstar Grill. 205 Madora St, Mt Holly, NC 28120 We will also be meeting quarterly rather than monthly. We will meet at 3:00 in October, January, April, and July.
First meeting of the new History SIG is October 11. We plan to follow the format we used for our Crossover Events in the past. We would like for each attendee who is willing to prepare a brief (5-10 minute) presentation on some part of the quarterly topic. We will do the 1970s in October. We will reserve some time at the end to discuss future topics.
Those attending the last old-style History SIG got first dibs on topics, so Watergate, Bangladesh Independence, and home cooking have already been spoken for.
