Jack Howard will be giving a presentation on his recent trip to Chile.
Jack took a two-week trip to Chile in March with some other educators. They went to the southern part of the country to learn about conservation efforts in the Patagonia region. The trip two and a half days to get to the destination – three plane flights, a half-day ride in a van, and an overnight ferry – to a village where their hosts picked them up in their boat. They spent five days/nights at an ‘off the grid’ (but very homey) location in the Melimoyu Elemental Reserve, then spent another two and a half days to get home. Jack will have photos, a PowerPoint presentation, and time for discussion.
