Mensa Brainstorming SIG
November 21, 2027 @ 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The Mensa Brainstorming SIG was formed by Ken Lawrence. The purpose of the SIG is to allow members to suggest ways we can improve our organization. It also is intended to help new members understand what might be available, and give existing members ways that they can get involved.
The main purposes of the SIG involve –
An opportunity to brainstorm ways we do things
To provide a resource to help people navigate the ways of our operation
– To provide a place where people can talk to other members of our family

At this point, you must be asking, “How can I help?”
– It may be that you have suggestions to improve things but cannot make the meeting. By all means, email them to me.
– It may be that you would like to review the suggestions that other people are making. By all means, email me so I can add you to the mailing list.
– Please consider this a cordial invitation to join our group of merry Mensans.
– Please consider this a cordial invitation to invite others to our Zoom meetings.
– Feel free to announce it at the monthly meetings
– Feel free to tell new members about us.
– If people express interest in the organization, send them to us.
A few more things to think about:
– accepting a leadership position implies some responsibility for promoting Mensa programs
– This type of activity can be a good introduction to our organization.
– There is a shortage of inexpensive activities that folks might enjoy.
– This might help a lot of people who need somebody to talk to.
Please think about it.
